This was an amazing hike I did back in 2024, my first solo overnight hike. The Bluff walking track isnt particularly long - the climb to the top, and walk back down via Bluff Link rd could be done in a day, but I wanted to take my time and spend a night up there.
The initial climb has got some fun bits scrambling up rocks, and the reward is absolutely epic. I'd never experienced walking along an open ridgeline like that. Even though it was the middle of summer, it dropped to somewhere close to zero degrees in the night, and I certainly didn't have sufficient cold weather gear, so lesson learned there.

Now that I have a 4x4, I'm really eager to drive up to the hut and get out on the ridgeline again. But there's something to be said for getting up on your own legs.
