Notes: Drive through Rubicon State Forest into Eildon National Park, VIC
Quick notes from a drive into/out of Eildon.
Herbs track - easy, borderline 2wd accessible. Morris look-out is well worth a look, beautiful view of Eildon and surrounds.
Royston Range track - easy, but newtracs doesn't seem to have it plotted correctly. I ended up having to reverse for some time as the track turned into almost single trail. I back-tracked to No. 6 track and onto Snobs creek road.
Conn Gap Rd - easy track, couple of short steep climbs. Beautiful scenic drive through lush forest on Mt Torbeck with some great camp spots.
Jerusalem creek track - easy track down to the Jersualem creek end of Lake Eildon, apparently some big cod down here.
On the way out, we went back down to Jerusalem creek track and continued onto: Taylors creek track - easy track with the occaisonal rough section. This is a long track with a few nasty looking tracks weaving down to the lakeside off it.
Wilson's track - some steep climbs, medium track. We didnt do the final section down to the water, extremely steep but certainly doable. Will try it another time.
Wombat track - similar to Wilsons, but maybe a bit gnarlier. It continues onto Webb track and apparently Rhonda track, but we couldn't see any track when newtracs says Rhonda track is, just a bit of a clearing.

Really beautiful country, gotta do some more exploring around Eildon and into Jamieson.
